Prerequisites
To successfully complete your exam, you should have at least one year’s experience implementing and administering a network operating system where there are:
- 250 to 5,000+ users
- At least 3 physical locations
- At least 3 domain controllers
- Network services and resources including messaging, a database, file and print, a proxy server, a firewall, the Internet, an intranet, remote access, and client computer management
- Connectivity requirements including connecting branch offices and remote users to the corporate network, and corporate networks to the Internet.

This course is for those who work with or plan to work with IP addressing and services, names resolution, file and print services, network access and remote access, and monitoring network services. It is also for those looking to stand out for their specialised knowledge in a Windows Server 2008 environment.
What will I learn?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Configure IP addressing and services
- Configure name resolution
- Configure network access
- Configure file and print services
- Monitor and manage a network infrastructure.
What certificate will I get?
After passing this course, you will receive the MCTS Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring certification.
You will also have passed one of five exams necessary to gain the MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification and one of three exams necessary to gain the MCITP Server Administrator certification.
