IT Student Support Services

One of the main concerns that students have when enrolling on a distance learning course is whether they will receive enough support from tutors and staff in order for them to complete the course and understand the coursework. We want to ensure you have the right information and that, if you have any problems, they are sorted out straight away.

Up to 18 months technical and tutor support

Each student is guaranteed either, 6, 12 or 18 months technical and tutor support from our team of tutors and advisers, dependent on the course they choose. If you are having issues with a particular section of your course you can contact your tutor through the Student Online system. For more details on accessing the Student Online system, please see below.

Students are also encouraged to add their opinions, queries and tips to the Student Knowledge Hub set up in order to help students learn from each other. We encourage students to visit this Hub if they are stuck on any part of their course and, if they still can’t find an answer, to visit the Student Online system at the ICS Community to contact their tutor. We will endeavour to add any useful issues that students experience to the Knowledge Hub so that other students may benefit.

Fast turnaround email support on all Microsoft & CISCO courses

ICS adhere to strict turnaround times for queries added through the Student Online system. For all queries relating to a students course, we aim to respond within 5 days of receiving the enquiry.

All tutors are practicing IT professionals and UK based

ICS ensure that all our tutors are specialised in their chosen fields and throughout our total programs we employ approximately 175 tutors to mark, respond and work with students to ensure the standards we set are maintained throughout the entire course.

Specifically, the IT tutors are practicing professionals in their field, and can therefore advise on current issues affecting the industry and provide real insight in to what is needed and expected of individuals who have completed IT qualifications. Our tutors can provide guidance on applying assignments to real working practices and as they are UK based, they have first hand experience of the current market.

Access the secure ICS Student Online system

To access the Student Online system, students must login to the ICS Community and click on ‘Student Services’. Once the student has then entered their Registration Number and Post Code they can access their account and perform several tasks.

Students are able to:

  • Submit queries and assessments
  • Submit multiple choice answers and get instant results
  • Track their progress through their course
  • Update personal details
  • Make payments

Please note, we aim to respond within 5 days for each query that is submitted via the Student Online system.
